Practicing Change and Letting Go
I enjoy working with the particular challenges that face LGBTQ+ people, both individually and couples. I work psychodynamically, meaning I pay attention to how you relate to others, and when those relationships feel off in some way we discuss that. I have extensive experience working with substance use disorders and trauma, including religious trauma survivors. I live in Manhattan with my husband and 2 dogs. I am licensed in NY state as well as New Jersey, and have a limited number of sliding scale and Medicare appointments available.
Before working in private practice, I was the assistant clinical director of an outpatient mental health clinic in the West Village, where I saw patients and supervised several clinicians. I currently offer in-person and telehealth sessions. My office is wheelchair accessible.
