I have experience working with substance use disorders and life changing events such as coming out, graduation, etirement, death, and major medical events. I try to help you develop the emotional infrastructure you need to tolerate powerful feelings in your day to day life, like anger, fear, anxiety, guilt, and shame. I am licensed in New York state as well as New Jersey, and have a limited number of sliding scale, Medicare, and Medicaid appointments available. I prefer to work 2 times a week with someone so our sessions don't feel like you have a short time to get a whole week's worth of experience into 50 minutes. We can talk about frequency in your consultation session (50 minutes), which is free. I currently offer telehealth sessions exclusively.
