Practicing Change and Letting Go
I think of therapy as a collaborative process; we work together to think about how you think. I work with individuals and couples who are looking to improve their relationships, and have a practice with people from many different backgrounds; I am particularly familiar with the challenges that face LGBTQ+ people. My style is conversational, with an emphasis on talking about feelings, thoughts, and patterns that keep you stuck in place. I am also experienced in addressing substance use disorders. I live in Manhattan with my husband and 2 dogs, Jacob and Golda.
Before working in private practice, I was the assistant clinical director of an outpatient mental health clinic in the West Village, where I saw patients and supervised several clinicians. I currently offer in-person and telehealth sessions. My office is wheelchair accessible.
